CARING FOR YOUR #1 INVESTMENT

Why is taking care of your chimney and fireplace important? Your chimney's purpose is to contain and safely vent the gases of combustion from your home. These noxious gases can contain soot/creosote, carbon monoxide and corrosive chemicals. If your chimney flue has cracks, gaps, voids, or is missing mortar, then it can no longer perform safely its intended function. Its efficiency is severely compromised and cannot safely vent these hazardous gases.

Hearth Aches Chimney Services specializes in all phases of fireplace and chimney care from the basic visual inspection and routine cleaning to catastrophic events (damage from earthquakes, tornadoes, and chimney fires).  Though Oklahoma does not experience noticeable seismic activity, our chimney specialist has  over 25 years of experience in rebuilding chimneys damaged by earthquakes and fires.

Our chimney inspector is a licensed contractor which has specialized in chimney restoration, rebuilds, and new construction who has additionally taken the certification course to learn the codes and NFPA standards.  He works in the field daily troubleshooting drafting/venting problems, smoke and odor problems, water leaks, and performing real estate inspections for sales.  He has demolished and rebuilt masonry and prefabricated fireplace and chimneys as well as hybrid fireplaces and chimneys (part masonry-part prefab).

Our inspector has worked closely with several Historical Preservation Societies in Southern California restoring beautiful chimneys to code in Los Feliz, Hancock Park, and the Pasadena area. He has worked extensively with structural engineers, designers, and buildings engineers in the restoration and rebuilding of chimneys damaged by the 1994 Northridge earthquake and ravaged by the LA mudslides and fires.  This exposure to so many unique situations has amply prepared him for the rains and tornados of Oklahoma.  We feel confidant in saying our inspector will troubleshoot and correctly resolve any type of chimney problem you may have. He is also excellent in the everyday management of cleaning a chimney and routine care to avoid any potential problems that can occur with a heating appliance of this magnitude.  Call us today and sleep safe tonight!
